IT Support Specialist – GIS system support

Candidate A is a technical support officer with extensive experience in the supporting of Northgate’s wide range of software packages within the Geographical information solutions (GIS) tool, based upon Oracle. He offers intense 9-5 Proactive support and database administration on Oracle 7/8/9i. As a consequence he is highly skilled in servicing both public and private sector clients whilst maintaining, configuring and resolving all aspects of Oracle production databases. The candidate has a wide range of capabilities within the Northgate GIS application, including knowledge of Gazetteer, land systems, M3, housing and planning solutions. Performed significant percentage of software upgrades, as well as administrating a public facing web entry system for Northgate planning applications across a large LA client base.

His Principal Achievements and languages - Developed using Oracle 7/8/9i/10g, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Designer 2000 generation and Developer 2000 (Forms 6i/8i/10g), Apex 3.1 toolset on Windows NT / Unix at Northgate's development centre in Alderley Edge.

An Analysis, Design and Build and Team Leading with roles have been undertaken to produce a client server application consisting mainly of Oracle Developer 2000 (Forms 6i/8i/10g) modules, also Web applications using Apex 3.1 pages and PL/SQL Packages and Procedures conforming to common development methodology quality standards, quite simply a Northgate development expert and well respected within the Northgate arena
